About Me

My photo
Hello! My name is Jennifer Beard, I am a wife & SAHM of two gorgeous kids! I love any form of crafting, I started very young, I really cant remember a time when I wasnt making things with my hands. My grandmother taught me to sew as a child, my mom made home decor, my great grandmother quilted and made ceramics...I've done all of that myself, and a little over two years ago I discovered scrapbooking! I love to create beautiful little works of art! I love to paper piece little things and put them on pages to sortve tell a story. I'm in love with making tear bears, I think they're so cute! I'd have to say that my favorite thing to create would be scrapbook albums, mostly vintage themes. I love taking "old" items and giving them new life!

Finally a minute to sit and share!

Happy Labor Day weekend everyone! I've had a busy one, hope you've all had great weekends so far! I am currently creating a little scrapbook album for my son Skyler's pre K class...they have a project they are doing and a new friend in class named "Buddy Bear". Buddy gets to go home with a different child every night, and we are supposed to write down what we do with Buddy, and take pictures of our adventures. So I thought I'd make his teacher a scrapbook album to host Buddy's pictures with the kids. So...between climbing laundry mountain, watching football, and scrapping that's been the extent of my weekend.

I really need to get in gear and create some things to sell on ebay, as well as start on the 4 custom Twilight album orders I've got. But with just coming home from a 2 1/2 week vacation, and starting my son in school, I'm easily distracted at the moment. I'm hoping that the new shipment of supplies I've got coming will be some added motivation to get started. New things to play with always helps. I have been trying to convince my DH that I really need SCAL as well as the big bite...my expression machine just isnt enough nor is my regular cropodile...since I've started making more albums than anything it just makes more sense...it has a much longer reach than the regular one.

  1. Iguess Buddy Bear is a pretty common Pre-K thing, my daughter's class has him too. She starts tomorrow, I bet there will be alot of tear, but not from her! Nice job on the blog, I started one a while back too.
