Happy Monday...

So I've been a busy girl the last couple weeks...I created two Valentine layouts for ebay, which I will show you later, and started a blog for the ebay design team I belong to Preserving Your Lasting Original Treasures (PY LOT), you should check it out, its still a bit under construction, but so far so good...I'm following it on this blog, so just click on its icon and have a look. My mom came to stay with me on Friday night...we live 120 miles apart, so we dont see each other often. She very much wants to get into scrapbooking, as well she should with the "mini hobby lobby" she has going on in her craft room. I'm tellin ya, she has an expressions and probably 50 cartrages NEVER OPENED! She's had the machine a year now! She's been dying to learn to make tear bears, so I gave her my pattern to take home, and taught her how I do it. She was so excited. It felt good to do something like that with her...I miss my mom terribly. I was going to upload pics...but I cant recall where I put them on my computer. HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Hello, and HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone! I hope you all had a terrific holiday season! We had a great one, lots of fun and family time. I rang in the new year scrapbooking, DH was working, so it was just me and DS at home. I did complete and list a cute little tear bear Valentine layout on ebay! I also made a New Year's bear set with champagne glasses, turned out really cute. Other than that I've been up to nothing much. I am getting ready to start another valentine project, I'll post pics when I get it done. In the meantime, here are some photos of my recent creations!

Christmas Mini Album

Well, I'm all finished with the scrapbook album I started making to donate to our local PTA's craft booth tomorrow. I used patterns from Precious Piecings, Lapulenta, and Myscrapchick...I used a variety of papers...Basic Grey Wassail and tons of Daisy D's (My fave!). The album is a 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 paper bag album with chipboard covers...Hope you like it!

Christmas mini album

Hello everyone...well I think I am out of my creative funk. I got wonderful news I wanted to share with you! The PTA has asked me to make something to donate to their craft booth at our town's Roger Miller Festival this weekend! That is the coolest that they thought of me and my work! It literally made my day and made me want to get up and go to my studio and actually make something. I am putting the album together now...I've got all the paper piecings done and embellies out, so it's time to glue down some pages. So far I have the front cover and first page done, its a 16 page mini album, 5 1/2 x 5 1/2, paper bag with chipboard covers...I'm using various Christmas themed paper piecing patterns from Lisa's Precious Piecings, Lapulenta, and Myscrapchick...I've got to have it done by Friday night...so I will post some pics when it's all done and ready to go. I think I may be ready to create something today! I love paper piecing...and when I find great patterns it's even more fun. scrapper's block and other things....

Oh it's been so long since I've posted here...I am ashamed to say that I've really not been busy at all. My husband did get a new job, he started last week, and we couldnt be more thrilled. I've got to GET busy and soon! I currently have orders for 14 of my Twilight inspired scrapbook albums and one OU Sooners album...DUE BY CHRISTMAS! I'm gonna be glued to my craft room next month. I have been very unmotivated since my vacation...and its time to find inspiration and get to work. Once I get my custom orders done I want to work on a craft that I'm not great at, but want to be wonderful at...and that is card making. I want to learn different techniques to make knock your socks off cards. I am also dying for Nov 20th when New Moon comes out! For those of you who know me well know that this is a VERY BIG DEAL to me! 33 days left so my blog New Moon countdown tells me! WOO!
